Magic Test Tube Kit

The Magic Test Tube kit consists of:

• approximately 1 m of 2" ABS or PVC tubing capped at one end
• a small bottle partially filled with water
• a string with ribbons attached to the bottle
• suggestions for use.

The Magic Test Tube can be used to teach/review processes of science, relative density, air pressure or buoyant force. The Magic Test Tube was first introduced by John Eix and the picture shows him demonstrating it in Singapore 2008.
