Mass Spectrometer - Student Version

The kit measures the relative masses of steel spheres using the same principles used in a simple mass spectrometer.
The kit helps students understand how mass spectrometers determine relative masses of atoms.

This kit is shipped in a completely assembled format. The ramp is mounted on a sheet of plexiglass, so you can also use this kit on the overhead. All you have to do is to remove the kit from the storage box, place it on a the desk top or the overhead, and perform the included experiment. It is designed to be used by a small group of students
